Privacy policy

Who runs this site

Helpot sienet (Easy mushrooms) is a static information site about common edible wild mushrooms in Finland and Scandinavia. It is published at helpotsienet.fi and run by Jari Majaniemi.

What this site collects

The site itself does not run a member login or a contact form that stores messages on our servers. Pages are static HTML hosted on Netlify.

Like most websites, the hosting provider (Netlify) may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, as needed to deliver the site.

Advertising

This site does not currently show advertisements. We may add advertising in the future (for example Google AdSense). If we do, this policy will be updated to describe how ads and related cookies work.

If ads are introduced, you may be able to manage ad personalisation in Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area (including Finland) would see a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are used.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not set its own advertising cookies while ads are disabled. Your browser or hosting delivery may still use essential technical cookies as part of normal website operation.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Your rights (EEA / GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us if your question is about this site; for third-party services we do not control, use their privacy tools and policies.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
